Post Wanee and Great News

Wow what a blur April has been. We were blessed to have our family in town the first two weeks of April. Three days after they left, so did we, off to our wonderful Wanee escape.

It is always a blast and never a disappointment. This year there was a new band - the Oli Brown Band on stage. Oli is in his twenties and plays a mean guitar. He is not too bad on the eyes either. He and his manager strolled the grounds after the show and we were able to talk to them. They are great and genuinely down to earth. Poor Oli humored me and posed for not 1 but 2 photos with his arms holding me tight (across my very wet sweaty lower back).

Then when we returned from Wanee I learned that all 3 photos submitted for the Selby Gardens Photography Contest were selected to be in the show. I also was called to facilitate at the last minute for one of the college Psychology courses I teach. It has been a scramble but, my oh my, are we blessed to be so very busy and to have each other.

Tata for now. I plan to try and blog at least once a month and post some new photo or art each time.
